Yui and Alex

Yui and Alex got married during the start of the pandemic and had a beautiful small ceremony on the grounds of The Palace of Fine Art in San Francisco with just close members of the family. As a result they didn’t get the photographs of their perfect day that they had imagined. So when Yui contacted me to do a “reshoot” for her, I was more than excited! This very laid back and happy couple were simply a dream to work with. I was able to find the perfect flowers for them from Strelitzia Flower Co and we were off! The day of the shoot we had a few locations in mind. This being a Saturday, The Palace was bustling so I worked hard to find the peaceful romantic scene we had envisioned. From there, we made a quick stop at Battery Spencer to get some views of the Golden Gate Bridge. The wind nearly knocked us all off our feet, so we improvised and found some interesting scenery in the wind torn Civil War era military base. Sunset approached, so we were off once again to Point Bonita for some of the most beautiful coastal views one can imagine. Once we got the shots we wanted, it was wonderful to spend some extra time at sunset to get to know these two better. Yui has a love for unconventional fashion and Alex a connoisseur of whiskey. I’ll be sure to keep in contact with them and next time we will have a whiskey or 3!
