Santa Cruz Elopement

With all that 2020 has come to bear, there is still hope and that hope comes from the human capacity for love. Many couples have come together this year by never giving up on love. From elopements, small outdoor gatherings and Zoom calls, the challenges of this year have made it okay for weddings to be more about the two people coming together and not about the spectacle (Although a good party is always welcome!). The elopement style wedding can bring a type of intimacy and romance that is hard to recreate in a larger event…

This is why it’s so important to find a photographer who you really feel comfortable with.  Someone who can walk into any environment and make you feel at ease. Someone who only adds value to your day and reminds you how important these memories will be, not just a year from now but for the rest of your lives.

Santa Cruz has always been one of Katie and Mike’s favorite destinations. They love riding their bikes down highway 1, from their home in wine country, and finding camp sites along the way. With their love of the California coast and Redwood forest, they knew that Santa Cruz would be the perfect place. The pure joy that comes from these two incredible people can not be understated. Congratulation Katie and Mike, I wish for many many years of continued happiness and joy!
